Worship

Children are very important to us at East Side and we offer many opportunities for them to discover God.

We have youth groups that enjoy games, fellowship and learning about God through our actions.

Disciples on Campus! The church is located less than a mile from the University of Tulsa.

Not only is our church one big family, but families will find a home at East Side Christian Church.

One of our ladies' groups are very talented with needle and thread. Check out some of their work.

Once a month the Praise Band puts on a special service in addition to their frequent weekly performances.

We have a Senior Center that offers fellowship, promotes active living and helps seniors to live a healthier life.

Worship is something to be experienced and at East Side Christian Church you will experience a worship service centered around the Communion Table. We observe the Lord's Supper every week and believe that the table is open to everyone, for it is Christ's table, not ours.

WORSHIP (n) O.E. worðscip, wurðscip (Anglian), weorðscipe (W.Saxon) "condition of being worthy, honor, renown," from weorð "worthy" (see WORTH) + -scipe (see -SHIP). Sense of "reverence paid to a supernatural or divine being" is first recorded c.1300. The original sense is preserved in the title worshipful (c.1300). The verb is recorded from c.1200.

God is worthy of our praise and it is our desire that worship reflects the glory of God.
